I feel alone and trapped what do i do?

Don't worry! just because he is your father never let him demean your situation! just because people are older than you does not make them right! it is a very hard postion to be in when you can't turn to the people that are supposed to love you the most! I was also in your sitatuon I used to get beat by my dad and mother used to shut at him to keep going, they always put me down and never listened to my feelings! I have turned out very good, I have very good education, my own home and look after a wee dog! u have to understand that your dad is a very angry man, it may be something that happened to him in his past, maybe his dad treated him like that and try to give you tough love. Ethier way you don't have to prove yourself to everyone, i know the people you always want to make proud are your family but if they're constantly putting you down like that then they're not people who deserve a daughter like you. if he thinks your a failure he's cleary wrong, as the only failure in this situation is him, an eldery man, that can't be there for his daughter and beats her cause he's not smart enough or patient enought to sit down string a sentence together and hug her and let her know he loves her. None of this is your fault, be what you want to be and make yourself proud. Work hard in all your cles because you want to be able to be diffrent when you become a parent and have a good job to provide for them but most of all to be there for them emotionally. You don't have to say words to them, your actions will speak louder, prove them wrong..be strong pet, your not in it alone, dont let them disrespect you, and dont rise to it. Your a good person, dont let them make you think otherwise, as for the violence dont ever be scared to call the police, it is ILLEGAL even if it is family dont let them think your backstabbing them, its their fault! not yours
