Do you think that its wrong to spade and neuter your pets?

I mean what if someone took you and got you "fixed" so you could never have children without your say so? Youre trying to keep the population down? How could you when theres more humans in the U.S. than pet fish, birds, dogs, and cats.(true fact and proven statistic). Help me to understand.
