The best way to get people to know who you really are is to act the way you are. Be yourself and in my opinion and personal experience, just don't hang out with those idiots anymore. I hate hanging out with girls like that I was in a position just like you. what you have to do is just be yourself and dont' worry about fitting in. Sit by yourself. Keep yourself busy with reading, drawing, writting poetry. Finishing up homework and i'm sure someone will eventually be drawn to your style and personality. Honestly I think this is the best advice.
