What should i do for a history project on something from the oregon trial?

IN 8th grade and we got igned a history project due may 1st on something to do with the oregon trial. I know I don't want to write the 8-10 page essay. I want to make something but don't know what. we can make things like quilts, weapons, wagon, scenes, paintings, etc......... We have to write a paragraph saying what we want to do. the paragraph is due mon. on what we have chosen we also have to do a 2 page paper explaining what we had chosen. I NEED HELP PICKING A TOPIC!!!!!!! PLEASE HELP ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
