Unpopular Bible Topic...Second Advent?

As we get closer and closer to the end of time as we know it, the second advent (also known as the second coming of Christ) will become more unpopular. I rarely find Bible teachers and preachers who enjoy talking about futuristic world events and Bible prophecy. Bible teachers and preachers are teaching and preaching what "itching ears want to hear." Church leaders are afraid of attendance reduction these days. People are also not interested in topics they do not understand or fear. What is your view?
