Skateboarding problem!!?

alrite, i just learned the ollie, now i am learning the pop shuvit. When i tried it 2 day i popped the board and i spun around but the board kinda spinned but when it did, it like came up and flipped over like i popped, i spun around and so did the board "kinda" but it came up like it does when you kick it up when your don sk8ing and then flipped over, did i pop 2 hard? did i not spin enough? what did i do wrong? HELP!!!!!
